Continuous build & deployment for D365 F&O, handled for you

Your D365 deployments are manual, slow and risky. Every release ties up hours and a build server to maintain.

TL;DR

Automated D365 F&O build, BP check, tests and deployment on your pipeline, to your instance via PPAC. Pro plan, 1 credit (≈ €200) per development.

The problem with your current vendor

D365 deployment: artisanal and time-consuming

  • Manual build and packaging, a source of errors and wasted time.
  • No systematic tests or BP check before deployment.
  • Build infrastructure to maintain, scarce D365 DevOps skills.
How SKALP solves it

A managed CI/CD pipeline, from commit to deployment on your instance

  • CI pipelines: build, BP check and automated tests on every commit.
  • Packaging and direct deployment to your instance (Pro plan), from PPAC.
  • Build & release support included; 1 credit (≈ €200) per development.

How it works

1

Submit your ticket

Describe the business or technical need in a few lines. No 50-page spec required.

2

AI generates the extension

X++ code, unit tests and documentation produced in under 48 hours.

3

Validation on your Azure DevOps

Pull request submitted on your repository. Your IT lead reviews and validates before merge.

4

Delivered — 1 credit (≈ €200)

The credit is only consumed when the development is generated (smart contract). Once merged, it's delivered. No billing if the ticket isn't resolved.

The process applied to this case

  1. 01

    Commit on Azure DevOps

The generated code is pushed as a pull request to your repo, triggering the pipeline.

  2. 02

    CI pipeline

Automatic build, BP check (XppBP) and SysTest execution.

  3. 03

    Deployable package

Generation of a versioned deployable package, ready for PPAC.

  4. 04

    Deployment to your instance

Managed deployment to your environment (Pro plan), traceable end to end.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a build server to maintain?+
No: build and tests run in the pipelines, and deployment is done from PPAC. You have no dedicated build infrastructure to maintain.
How does it relate to PPAC / LCS?+
Packages are generated to be deployed via PPAC (the Power Platform Admin Center that replaced LCS for managing D365 F&O environments).
Is it included in the Pro plan?+
Yes: build & release support and deployment to your instance are part of the Pro plan (€1,000/month per environment). Development is still billed 1 credit per ticket.
